Meat Speciation Testing from ALS
ALS offers UKAS accredited meat speciation testing using Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) from the below species. This service is available to all of ALS customers in Ireland who are seeking a larger range of speciation testing or require lower limits of detection.
- Chicken (Gallus gallus)
- Cow (Bos Taurus)
- Horse (Equus caballus)
- Pig (Sus scrofa)
- Sheep (Ovis aries)
